These Terms of Use apply to Flow. By using the app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Local-First Writing Tool
Flow is provided as a local-first writing tool. It does not provide cloud document storage, account backup, publishing, legal review, editorial review, or content moderation for your writing.
Your Content
You own the writing, notes, project files, and other content you create in Flow. You are solely responsible for that content, including its legality, accuracy, originality, backup, storage, and use.
No Responsibility For User Content
Flow is not responsible for anything users write, save, export, publish, share, or otherwise create with the app. We do not review or control user writing and are not liable for user-created content.
Saving, Backups, And Data Loss
You are responsible for saving and backing up your work. Although Flow includes local draft recovery, autosave, export, and .flow project-file features, no storage method is guaranteed. We are not responsible for lost, deleted, corrupted, overwritten, inaccessible, or unsaved writing, notes, exports, browser data, or project files.
Third-Party Services
If you use a browser, operating system, device, cloud folder, payment processor, hosting provider, or other third-party service with Flow, that service is governed by its own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, outages, sync behavior, data handling, or security.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Flow to violate the law, infringe others' rights, distribute malware, attack the service, interfere with hosting infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access to any system.
No Warranties
Flow is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every browser, or free from data-loss risks.
Limitation Of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Flow and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost writing, business interruption, or other losses arising from use of or inability to use the app.
Support
Support may be provided by email, but support availability, response time, and issue resolution are not guaranteed. Do not send sensitive writing or personal information unless you want it reviewed for support.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Flow after updates means you accept the updated Terms.
